What Do We Say In Response To This...

So, what do say in response to this laissesz faire approach on South Africa's Criminal Justice System?

First, it was Zuma, followed by Oscar and then this brat from the UK acquitted of a succession of serious crimes including murder.

As a thinker, it's really difficult to disconnect yourself from the quite acceptance of the injustices.

What do we say in response to the indignation? This reminds me of a video presented by Matt Damon where he reiterates Howard Zinns speech on matters of civil disobedience, ignorance, dictatorship, consciousnesses and the elusive single view of justice/injustice.

Check out the video..

a Poet Cries a third

Lend me your ears... to hear a troubled soul, listen to my silent cries echoing in the distance.

My third eye sees unbeatable odds heaving together in front of my eyes, on the side I hear utterances whispering to my third ear ''the gods are about to convene on your account", real time points out phaya its about to rain - it is alarming and I know my verdict is imminent. Oh bawo my goodness what is just the justice can justify, in this case of a troubled soul. Justice bro please play your part, outwit the cynics, condemn the haters, vilify the unrighteous for they have tainted my soul before I was born.

I waited in silence, an audible vibration from my knees told me that the verdict will count on my favor. Firstly, I stuttered.. then I seconded by speaking in thirds about my unforeseen consequence. My third speech disorder flowed rhythmic vowels and consonants.. something like ayrhykloj  ish! BUT then again..... my conscience reassured me that a poets cry is heard by the soil and the mountains it walks on- these credible witnesses are there for me and you to take liberty on the infinite Grace bestowed upon our spiritual birth.

A letter to St Jude - Patron Saint of lost causes

I humbly greet you in the Holy Trinity. I stand before you without a free conscience. This is my confession of faith. I have been a lost sheep, lost in the entanglements of human relationships. I have distressed my soul by loosing sight of the sound doctrine I am called upon.

I have not made a reverent petition for homeless brothers and sister, bruised by the unforgiving cold front. I have not visited our beloved young souls at the Hospitals. I have not paid tribute to the colossal fallen heroes of 1976, whose blood stains we're walk on the red carpet.

I have not yet found employment for the unemployed, I have alienated my Zimbabwean brothers, I haven't been sympathetic to Patrice Lumumba's brothers in the DRC or the Somali refugees who are constantly under wrathful attacks by South Africans.

My Teacher, please help... help me to fulfill my destiny. I can't shake off the feeling that I am about to drown into the system (Matrix) and become incapable of being emotionally responsive. My Teacher, please help to unplug myself from the system, I am afraid I might give in and fail to honour the characters that inhabit my soul. Amen
